Please make sure to read the rules so you'll know how things are ran!
WHO ARE WE
- World Wrestling Headquarters is a fictional roleplaying wrestling promotion. None of it is real so there's no affiliation with real wrestlers or real wrestling promotions.
- The main headquarters use to be in San Diego, Ca but now have move it up to Northern California near the coast. There are five cities that the shows happen: Night City, Medio City, Serenity, Avalon, and Syrene(Looks like the little dipper
).
- The environment/setting is a cyberpunk type of feel, think Blade Runner but not as futuristic.
- There will be other locations including clubs, their homes, gyms, etc. to use as well as support characters that anyone can use for their roleplays both CD and matches.
INTRODUCTION
- No drama or anything offensive. Please don't cause any. If you have a problem with someone either let the staff know privately or talk to the person you have a problem with privately as well. No need to make it public either on social media or on the site. Also, please no offensive remarks or content towards people as they will be removed and lead to a possible ban. In simple words, Don't be a dick to anybody.
- No advertising please.
- If you need to take a break or have upcoming plans in real life and can't be booked, make sure to post an LOA in the LOA board so we won't forget.
- Have Fun! That's the whole point of this game
.
REGISTRATION
- Once you register, you have 5 days to post your contract up. Whether it's a wrestler or a non-wrestler you must post a contract or else your account gets deleted.
- If you have more than 1-2 characters make sure to try and login with them every day or every other day. We want to make sure they're active and posting. We do allow group accounts so if you bring in a tag team please make separate contracts as they will be booked in singles matches too and it's easier on staff.
- Make sure that your theme song and picture base/face claim is available too. If they aren't, have a back up plan to be safe.
CHARACTERS
- We accept original characters only.
- You can have up to seven characters. They can be decided on wrestlers/non-wrestlers as long as there's four active wrestlers and if you're able to handle more than one or two characters too. We don't want you to burn yourself out.
- We allow up to 2 characters per picture base/face claim. If the character uses anime or anything along the lines, please make sure to have resources as they can be tough to find and create.
ROLEPLAYING
- We're going with the hybrid format but still a competitive rp base fed. Meaning, there will be times where someone will lose to progress storylines and feuds but still showcasing quality writers. So in short, to go by how much competitive we are still, it's 80% rp based while 20% storylined. If you lose, there's no need to throw a fit about it, it happens. Do what you can to improve next time and if necessary ask on how to improve.
- Dystopia is a 1 rp limit with word limits varying with each division.(between 2500-4000). You don't HAVE to always reach the max, if you feel that what you wrote is enough, then post it. In the end it's Quality>Quantity, plus we'll know when there's word filler in roleplays. Our second brand, Sanatorium is our micro brand with a 2 rp limit with 1k words each rp. Proboards' word count doesn't work as good so we use Word Counter instead. Also, you can use past roleplays, anything on social media(both on here & twitter) to argue points but don't completely rely on them please.
- Since Dystopia is a 1 RP limit, we don't allow direct responding. However, with Sanatorium it's encouraged to keep the back and forth going and with it being a 2 rp limit.
- For Sanatorium, you don't HAVE to do 2 rps, you can do UP to 2 rps but the minimum is at least 1 rp. If you feel that 1 rp is enough to get your point across, that's perfectly fine. But, if you want a higher chance of winning and writing a better rp then you can do 2 rps. The best scored RP wins overall. If you do 2 rps, they'll be graded but if 1 rp scores better than the other, then the 1 rp wins.
- No sexual roleplaying please. No detailed roleplays about it either as it goes against the proboards TOS so try not to do that.
- Try not to Deadline Bomb. We all have lives outside of efedding and some of us are busy with work or school so do your best to not make it a habit of posting within 30 minutes before deadline.
- Do your best to interact with everyone to push further storylines and feuds. Whether it's on here, twitter, or the CD board. Push your stories and we'll do our best to push them as well as any feuds going.
ROLEPLAY JUDGING
- The roleplays will be voted on a 20 point system with 4 categories(4x5=20 quick maths!).
- We've decided that we're going to give bonus points to people doing segments(.5 point total not per segment) whether you're assigned to do one or wanting to do one.
RELEVANCE(5): Does the roleplay reflect on what's happened in the past shows? How does it affect their upcoming match against their opponents?
ARGUMENT(5): Do they know their opponent well enough to make valid points against them? Do they know what's going on with them to use in their favor such as social media or past roleplays? Is there a story being built as well in the roleplay? Did they use everything including the other locations within the cities to help further their matches and stories?
ENTERTAINMENT(5): Did the roleplay draw you in? Were you not bored? Did you want to read more? Was the roleplay original and didn't use any sandbagging or direct responding to their opponents(Dystopia only).
FLOW(5): Was the roleplay readable. Was the grammar fine, did everything make sense overall?
